03 - High Street, Cheltenham - Alex Gregory

The Men's Four of Alex Gregory, Pete Reed, Tom James and Andy Triggs led from start to finish to claim Great Britain's 9th Gold of London 2012.  This was our fourth successive victory in the event.

Situated on the pedestrianised High Street (whose name was curiously not shown on any map) this postbox had a poor paint job with drips running down onto the black base.  It also needed a second coat.  Cheltenham was bright and busy but everyone seemed oblivious to the golden tribute shining in their midst.  It was little hard to find and we had a quick snack from the expedition coolbox so were there for about 40 minutes.
