04 - Ampney St. Peter - Laura Bechtolsheimer

History was made in the Team Dressage when Laura Bechtolsheimer, Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin rode away with Great Britain's 20th Gold of London 2012.  It was our first ever Dressage success, beating Germany who had been Olympic champions since 1976.

Ampney St. Peter is a small village in the Cotswolds.  And I mean small.  Easy to miss if you're flying down the A417.  But we found handy homemade signs guiding us to our goal.  The stone houses are beautiful.  There were no people around so we set the 10 second timer on the camera and hoped for the best.  It worked !
